System Characteristics
This section contains an overview of the essential characteristics of the jSign API, including allowable message sizes and supported file types.
File Size Limits
For the API, the number of envelopes you can send per month depends on the plan tier you are using. There is no actual limit to the number of documents that can be put into each envelope, though we recommend that you keep envelopes under 20MB in total size to avoid slow transport times. This 20MB size limit is the total maximum size of the document payload, including base64 encoding.
